Peter Vanderbeke

Peter is responsible for current finances, forward financial projection, marketing and sales strategies, and for the leadership and general operational management of Go Virtual Medical.
Background
Peter is an experienced senior executive, business owner and director with strengths in sales, leadership, developing and motivating individuals and teams, building a strong vision, and strategy development. After studying physics, he started his working life as a research scientist, where he developed an interest in the application of computer technology. His business career since then has spanned nearly thirty years. His sales and management skills were initially honed in senior positions within multi-national companies such as DEC, Unisys, SGI, Equant and Nokia, and more recently through ownership of several businesses: a tourism publishing venture, three restaurants, a charter boat, and a small distribution business.
Peter has wide experience in the Information Communication Technology industry beginning in the early 1980’s, and has a particular interest in computer graphics and VR simulation, which stems from his exposure to the movie industry while he ran SGI.
