How many people can use this software?
You have purchased a SINGLE-USER, license.
Please keep your user name and password confidential.
They are for your use only.
Do NOT let others use your GVM software for the following reasons:
- They will have to be given your username and password
- They will be able to see your results
- Their results will be recorded as your results and can not be removed - they will be mixed with your results
- Your name will appear on the user interface, and on all printouts of your logbook
- We reserve the right to cancel your license if it is abused

What is the DivX video codec?
DivX is a digital media format used by GVM and many other software manufacturers.
DivX is a brand name of products created by DivX, Inc., including the DivX Codec, which has become popular due to its ability to compress lengthy video segments into small sizes while maintaining relatively high visual quality.
Since its inception, DivX has been among the world's most popular video technologies and has been downloaded over 220 million times.

All GVM modules use the DivX video format for their video content.
GVM software will not function normally unless the DivX codec is installed on your PC.
The DivX codec can be downloaded from: www.divx.com
The DivX codec is free and is updated at regular intervals.
We recommend that you accept these updates when they are offered.

What platforms does the software run on?
GVM modules are designed to run on a personal PC desktop or notebook with a Windows XP SP2 or Vista Operating System.
NOTE : If you have updated your PC from Windows XP to Vista, you MUST install the latest Vista video and audio drivers on your PC.
GVM will not run on Windows 98 or ME.
GVM will currently not run on a Mac.

What hardware do I need?
GVM is designed to run on a PC desktop or notebook computer running Windows XP or Vista operating systems.
GVM will not run on a Mac.

Do I need any special hardware to run Go Virtual Medical?
GVM needs no special hardware other than a second USB scroll mouse (for use in the Integrated Simulator).All GVM modules require two mice (except for the CPR modules which require one mouse only).

Will I be refunded if the software does not run on my computer?

Please ensure that your computer has suitable software and hardware specifications prior to purchase.

Will I need two mice to use the software on a notebook PC?
TWO USB scrolling mice are required to run the simulator on a desktop PC.
Notebook users have the option of using one or two mice - you can use the touchpad of your notebook as your "second mouse" if you wish.

How much hard drive disk space do I require to install the software?
This depends upon how many modules you install - each module requires between 100 MB - 700 MB of HDD space - a total of up to 2,500 MB (2.5 GB) if all modules are installed.

Do I need a fast internet connection to download this software?
These are large files. We recommend that you use a fast Internet connection, preferably using download management software (see below). These files are too large to download with a dial-up connection.

Should I use download management software to download this software?
Although it is possible to download our software using Internet Explorer of Firefox, we recommend that you use download management software to improve the speed and reliability of your download. There are many good alternatives, some of them free.
We recommend Free Download Manager Lite which can be downloaded at no cost from : www.freedownloadmanager.org.

How do I install the software?
There are 4 steps to installation:
1. Download the software
2. Install Go Virtual Medical software
3. Install the DivX codec (see What is the DivX video codec?)
4. Activate the software

Can I install the software on more than one of my computers using the same license?
You can install GVM on 1 PC for your personal use only.
Note that you have a SINGLE-USER license.

Can I change my user name or password after purchase?
No.
You are asked to chose your preferred user name and password at the time of purchase.
Chose carefully. These can NOT be changed later.
You have purchased a SINGLE-USER license.
If you want to use a second user name, you must purchase another copy of our software.

Can I buy GVM software on a DVD?
Yes, at an extra one-off cost of US $120 incl. P&P, in addition to paying the usual monthly subscription.
All of our current modules are included on the DVD.
Users can update their GVM software online.
Our product is designed to be downloaded, which is the cheapest option.

What does my subscription entitle me to?
You have the right to download and use any or all of our modules for the duration of your subscription.
Your subscription is valid for a SINGLE USER only, and is not transferable.
The Single User License is for individuals for their own personal learning.
Public screening and classroom rights are NOT included.
The Single User license entitles the user to a personalized record of learning.
Single User licenses are purchased in advance on a per month per user basis.
Single User Licenses can be bought at our store as a download or in DVD format (at extra cost).

How do I cancel my subscription?
Your credit card will be automatically charged every month until you cancel your subscription.
We require at least one weeks notice of cancellation.
Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period (month).
